Modern kitchen and dining room in vintage industrial style
It was a great pleasure to redesign and renovate this kitchen and dining room. Combination of concrete wall coat, white high gloss cabinets, black stone countertop and wood became the number one choice for this modern kitchen. In the dining room we decided to leave the original wooden table and supplemented it with vintage chairs and design pendant lighting. The tasteful combination of modern furnishings and industrial vintage style pieces made the space very cosy. Clients are very happy. I couldn’t have wished for more.
My kitchen renovation has just been completed and I am so happy with it. It is exactly as I wanted it. Olina has been so professional every step on the way. From planning and design, to organising the tradesmen and advice on colours, finishes, fixtures and fittings. It’s never easy to find reliable craftsmen here in CZ but Olina’s team ALWAYS turned up when they were supposed to, and did a fanatastic job. Olina listened to what I wanted and offered advice to bring it to reality. I am so happy with the result and I will be using Delicato Design for my next project.
Themed kids rooms in a family house
The wallpaper depicting New York sky scrapers gave the inspiration for the teenage room. Neutral colour pallette was livened up by using contrast red and black colours of accessories. To make the room more functional we made space for the comfort corner with the side table, put in a proper-sized bed and a writing desk. All the furniture was custom-made.
The dog-themed wallpaper is the main theme for the girl’s room. White colour (palette) was supplemented with various hues of pink, violet and grey. The room perfectly fulfills different functional requirements of a school girl. It also provides enough space for other free time activities.
Living and dining room with beautiful ambient lighting
Did you know that ambient lighting is the jewelry of the home? It rings 100% true in this project. Splendid glass balls by Penta lights and a timeless standing lamp Arco are indeed the “icing on the cake” in this living room. Besides decorative lighting we have changed the whole lighting scheme around the house by installing almost invisible but functional built-in lights.
We chose new furniture for the dining room & adjusted the colour scheme. We have kept neutrals as a base colour and added terracotta in the dining room and saturated blue in the living room as accent colours. To round the look we have chosen new textiles incl. window decorations in both rooms, a new rug and decorative pillows.
When we decided to refurbish our house I knew what I liked bud didn’t really know where to get all the things and which companies to use. I asked Olina to help me, and that was a great decision. She did not just get me all the contacts I needed but also communicated with the companies, checked their work and negotiated the prices. She also was a great support in helping me making color and material decisions and came up with some new ideas. She was always on top of things and helped us to move on to finish our plan. Thank you Olina!
Family house in vibrant colours
The aim of this project was to create a modern space with pleasant and positive atmosphere for the family of 4. The views from the big windows emphasize the joyful feeling of the interior. Neutral colour scheme of warm brown, coffee and cinnamon hues, and simple lines of furniture are enriched by accent colours and a variety of textiles. The abstract paintings by Josef Dolák highlight the positive atmosphere of the interior.
Elegant and timeless kitchen
Elegance and timelessness are the main features of this beautiful kitchen…
The original kitchen was not only small and dark, but mainly did not reflect needs of the 4 member family. Thanks to the enlargement of the existing space and a layout change we managed to create a fully fledged space for cooking, family eating and coffee gathering with friends.
The kitchen table has been planned as a bar table due to the existence of the dining room for festive occassions.
Concerning colours and materials, we chose a timeless combination of light grey, wood decor and white Technistone on the countertop. Practical space with the built in fridge, pantry and a preparation table was created in the original technical room. Neutral colour scheme was livened up by joyful paintings and live flowers.
Olina was helping me with organising a substantial kitchen renovation. During the project she contributed significantly to the successful planning and execution, including completing various layout plans in 2D and 3D. Her attention to detail on both practical and design matters , and her individual approach to our project was valuable and appreciated.
Modern bedroom with a romantic touch
The owner of this house wanted to incorporate a magnolia artwork into their bedroom concept. The artwork inspired us to choose a beautiful romantic magnolia wallpaper. Overall the room is tuned up in delicate hues of coffee colour with the combination of white surfaces and honey oak. The colour concept was livened up by various decorative accessories and room plants.
Child room for FC Barcelona fan
The style preference of this room was a football theme. The dominant elements of the room are the football wallpaper and the photo wall which includes family photos and FC Barcelona posters. The colour scheme of the room consists of the combination of blue, yellow, grass green (evoking a football pitch) and white-black combination (reminding of the football itself). The custom-made furniture perfectly fulfills functional requirements for different activities.
Hallway and staircase in the family house
Based on the owners‘ requirements an unsightly hallway and a staircase were transformed into the tasteful and friendly space. Original beige wall colour was quite boring. To make the space more exciting I decided to use the textured wallpaper which was supplemented by the gorgeus floral wallpaper in the same colour hue. The walls of the 1st floor are decorated with the family photos and a smaller gallery of floral artworks was created in the bottom hallway. Decorative accessories like green grasses and dark brown ceramic vases completed the look.
